An open groove at the top of the orange spine provides a resting place for an unlit cigarette, joint or cigar. Its rounded section breaks the otherwise straight, rectangular profile.

ORANGE + WHITE
01 / A SMALL COMPOSITION
Balance without
symmetry.
Manfada sets a large, shallow circle on one side of a slender upright and a smaller, deeper circle on the other. The two elements share an axis without sharing the same scale.

A meeting of shapes
The rim.
The junction.
02 / THREE GEOMETRIC GESTURES
The wide, shallow dish is the ashtray: a horizontal plane that catches ash. Its fine white rim catches the light along a continuous curve.
The small cup is used to extinguish the cigarette, joint or cigar. Orange continues into its interior, tying the deeper volume to the upright.
03 / CHANGE THE VIEW
Every angle
rearranges it.
From the front, the shallow dish becomes a thin ellipse across the orange plane. From the side, the central body reads as a vertical line. The renders examine how these simple parts overlap and separate as the viewpoint changes.

04 / HELD TOGETHER BY CONTRAST
Orange inside.
White around.
The colour study separates the central mass from the elements that surround it. Orange fills the channel and cup; white outlines the vessels and wraps the upright in a horizontal band.
A digital form and colour exploration. The project record shown here consists of CAD and rendered views; material selection, manufacture and use testing remain outside this study.
